Hammer and Anvil Lou Paduano
This is a fairly short read - I read it in one day. Although I thought the first bit was a tiny bit slow it quickly picked up. This is one of those books that once you are hooked into the story you don't want to put it down! You just really want to see it all the way to the end. I loved the world building and the character development. The action and suspense as the story unfolded was great. Certainly a book for a weekend read (or a day home from work with a cup of tea and a quiet house).
