Before the Wrath Movie

BEFORE THE WRATH _ MOVIE I am a student at heart. I love research and evidence. I love to look at Scriptures and see how it applies and works our in our world. The Rapture has always been a hot topic. In fact pose a question about what people what to understand and many will ask for a closer study of the book of Revelation. It is after all the one book that seemsshrouded in mystery and still hotly debated by Christians. When will the rapture occur, how will events unfold, what is about to happen, how do we know? These are questions that many Christians wrestle with and try to figure out. Honestly when this review came across my desk I was excited. I never turn down an opportunity to watch a documentary that exposes the Scripture and opens it up. This documentary/movie is captivating from the first few moments. This movie highlights the importance and impact of Biblical prophecy by revealing the importance of the Gallilean culture and the lessons Jesus gave to his close disicples. It is narrated Kevin Sorbo and features: Jack Hibbs, Amir Tsarfati, Jan Markell, JD Farag, Scott McConnell, Jay McCarl, and Lizette Dillinger. These theologians, anthropologists, and Pastors do an excellent job of presenting information that will make you dive into Scriptures and ponder the deeper things regarding the End Times. I love that the focus is not How or When but to answer the Question WHY. WHY does this have to happen, what is the deeper meaning. In addition to the movie there is a YouVersion 5 day reading plan available at https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/20059-before-the-wrath To purchase a version visit https://wwww.walmart.com/ip/BEFORE-THE-WRATH-DVD/516653610 or http://www.beforethewrath.com/order_select.cf GIVE AWAY for a chance to recieve a copy please comment below, tag a friend, and share. American History (Revised)

American History, Revised edition. Amazing!! I love the changes to this book - the most awesome pictures and graphics and inserts. I have the original version of this, but will be adding this for my younger students.

World History (Revised) - Masterbooks

I bought World History several years ago with my oldest children. The new and revised edition will be added for my upcoming kids. The new edition is filled with amazing colourful photos, inserts and additional information. Although this review is for the revised edition, I think it is moreso for the World History curriculum. Masterbooks has created a History curriculum for homeschool families that is presented honestly and concisely. Even addressing hard historical issues with transparency and ease. I am a huge fan of Stobaugh's books, as an author I think he presents information in an easy to understand manner. This curriculum then challenges students to critically think about historical issues and the impact that these events have on the world. I especially appreciate the fact that the material is presented in a Biblical world view.

Will They Stand

WILL THEY STAND In light of the current political and economic circumstances, in the middle of a seemingly endless pandemic this book came across my desk for review. I opened the file to read the first few pages and was sucked in, unable to put it down. As I read the introduction my eyes began to tear up as the author paints an amazingly personal and touching picture of the impact that Godly parents have on their children. Legacy as always been an important part of my story; coming from an ungodly family where God was not worshiped and in fact was greatly misrepresented it has been of paramount importance to me to hand down a legacy that is lasting. Will they stand? Will they be able to face the seemingly insurmountable odds placed against them? Have we prepared this generation for the things that will come their way? The answer lies simply in the truth we present to them – what they will call truth. Have we followed God and presented the Truth of His Word – are we ourselves followers of the only Truth? This book is both inspiring and convicting for parents who seek to give their children a firm biblical foundation that extends to a Biblical WorldView that is uncompromisable and unshakable. Buy this book…..be inspired, encouraged and equipped. Become the legacy givers that prepare the next generation for the spiritual battles they will face. Equip your children with the Word so that they will stand, and stand firm. Help them to see and experience the Word in a personal way that changes their lives. Raising arrows for the kingdom, raising warriors that are firmly rooted in God…..this is the legacy we should be leaving. The author says it perfectly when introducing this book, “ How we need godly parents to train up a generation of godly offspring! Fathers, bring your children up in the “discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). Don’t leave a legacy in your children as Sagan has.”

Practice Makes Perfect Level 2

I am a huge fan of the Practice Makes Perfect series. This book, like level 1, is set up to work along side Math Lessons For Living Level 2. Each chapter corresponds directly with that chapter in the Math book. This makes it easy to pair up additional practice for each chapter and concept. If your child does not need additional help for one chapter then its easy to skip it. I have used this one as an extra time for math practice each day.

Practice Makes Perfect Level 1

This books is an excellent resource, I would say a must have addition to Grade 1. It supplements math Lessons for Living 1. I have a child in Grade 1 and have found it invaluable in this year's experience. The book can be used for additional practice on a concept or for a child that just likes to work on worksheets in free time. Math is a skill that can always use additional practice ad application. I really appreciated the fact that this workbook lines up exactly with Level one Math so it is easy to find the additional practice for each chapter. This takes the guess work out of providing extra help or practice on each chapter.

The Priority of Making Disciples

We are all familiar with the Great Commission. However, somewhere along the road the mission became more focussed on growing the local church in numbers. Our measure of success somehow became skewed by the world and success was considered growing the local church - gaining numbers. This book is a fresh look at the Great Commission. It is a fresh look at discipleship. The book is compiled of several sermons with practical applications made by the Pastors. This will make you take a step back and re-think the passage of Scripture that we may have become too familiar with, so familiar that we may have neglected it in the most applicable way. The mission has always been about growing the kingdom - not the local church. I really appreciate this book as a Pastor's wife who is married to a Pastor whose heart has always been for the individual. Often he has sat before committees and leadership boards and even elders and been asked, "That is a great out reach but how many of those people are actually coming to this church, where is their tithe going?" This question eximplifies the misapplication of this passage of scritpure. It highlights the fact that "discipleship" has been lost in the hurry to grow the church in numbers. I have proudly sat back and listened to him reply that people were attending other churches because of the outreach. The point of the outreach was and should be always getting Jesus to people, not people into the church. The people then need to connect with a church that they are most comfortable with and we can count that the outreach is successful when we see Jesus in people. Excellent book and resource. It can be used for small groups and Bible Study which makes it an even more versatile resource. Special thanks to Masterbooks for the opportunity to review this book.
