ECHOES OF ARARAT This highly insightful, well laid out book explores the various flood stories. It is good for children and parents alike to understand that while we read the Bible the stories held within the cover are not isolated to the Christian faith and the Bible alone. In fact they are supported by various other texts, fables, stories, and legends in tribes, nations and people spread all over the Earth. This book offers an opportunity to see how the flood narrative is pervasive in every culture and how this narrative directs beliefs and thoughts about the Earth. The Bible is not simply a book of stories that can’t be substantiated by Science or Historical evidence. This amazing book offers a great way to explore the narrative of the flood and talk about the wonders of God with your children.

Practice Makes Perfect 3 I absolutely love the simplicity of this additional resource!! For each lesson there are additional helps. The format of this resource makes it easy to skip to the lesson or section that you need and not use the ones that your student has mastered. I have also used this resource as extra work or review at random times. If I want to review a concept or test my child’s comprehension of a concept I may pull a section for him to do. This resource is invaluable. I would highly recommend the digital format as it makes it easy to pull certain sections and print only what is needed and to use the section several times if needed. The benefit of the print format is the beautiful colour illustrations and the fact that students can keep the workbook and choose to work on different sections themselves. ..

World Views in Conflict

World Views Conflict What is more important than understanding world views? I don’t know that there are many more important things. Our world view is the lens through which we view the world, it is how we determine our actions, attitudes and thoughts. Our world view is essential to our processing the world around us. Our world view shape our perceptions and beliefs. It is for this reason that I was excited to see this course. In this course the student will study the world views of some of the greatest thinkers and most influential writers, Scientists and theologians. This is about the doctrine that shapes our lives – because we all have doctrines by which we shape all other opinions. And these doctrines are not limited to our religious upbringing. But even so, it is a sad statement of today’s society that the majority of Christians have not studied the founding father’s of their faith. They have not dared to delve into old and ancient writings and thoughts. They have not questioned, understood and adapted the views for themselves. Challenge your student to explore why they believe what they believe and how those beliefs shape their lives and thoughts. I would highly recommend this course for all high school students.

BEFORE THE WRATH _ MOVIE I am a student at heart. I love research and evidence. I love to look at Scriptures and see how it applies and works our in our world. The Rapture has always been a hot topic. In fact pose a question about what people what to understand and many will ask for a closer study of the book of Revelation. It is after all the one book that seemsshrouded in mystery and still hotly debated by Christians. When will the rapture occur, how will events unfold, what is about to happen, how do we know? These are questions that many Christians wrestle with and try to figure out. Honestly when this review came across my desk I was excited. I never turn down an opportunity to watch a documentary that exposes the Scripture and opens it up. This documentary/movie is captivating from the first few moments. This movie highlights the importance and impact of Biblical prophecy by revealing the importance of the Gallilean culture and the lessons Jesus gave to his close disicples. It is narrated Kevin Sorbo and features: Jack Hibbs, Amir Tsarfati, Jan Markell, JD Farag, Scott McConnell, Jay McCarl, and Lizette Dillinger. These theologians, anthropologists, and Pastors do an excellent job of presenting information that will make you dive into Scriptures and ponder the deeper things regarding the End Times. I love that the focus is not How or When but to answer the Question WHY. WHY does this have to happen, what is the deeper meaning. American History (Revised)

American History, Revised edition. Amazing!! I love the changes to this book - the most awesome pictures and graphics and inserts. I have the original version of this, but will be adding this for my younger students.

World History (Revised) - Masterbooks

I bought World History several years ago with my oldest children. The new and revised edition will be added for my upcoming kids. The new edition is filled with amazing colourful photos, inserts and additional information. Although this review is for the revised edition, I think it is moreso for the World History curriculum. Masterbooks has created a History curriculum for homeschool families that is presented honestly and concisely. Even addressing hard historical issues with transparency and ease. I am a huge fan of Stobaugh's books, as an author I think he presents information in an easy to understand manner. This curriculum then challenges students to critically think about historical issues and the impact that these events have on the world. I especially appreciate the fact that the material is presented in a Biblical world view.

Will They Stand

WILL THEY STAND In light of the current political and economic circumstances, in the middle of a seemingly endless pandemic this book came across my desk for review. I opened the file to read the first few pages and was sucked in, unable to put it down. As I read the introduction my eyes began to tear up as the author paints an amazingly personal and touching picture of the impact that Godly parents have on their children. Legacy as always been an important part of my story; coming from an ungodly family where God was not worshiped and in fact was greatly misrepresented it has been of paramount importance to me to hand down a legacy that is lasting. The answer lies simply in the truth we present to them – what they will call truth. Have we followed God and presented the Truth of His Word – are we ourselves followers of the only Truth?
